Seventeen members of the hiking group car pooled to Midland for a tour of the S.S. Keewatin in Port Nichol, hike in Awenda Provincial Park interrupted by rain, and visit to Centennial Museum in Penetanguishene.

The Scottish Federation of Meat Traders has declared 2019 “the year of the Haggis”. January 25 was Robert Burns day.

Robert (Robbie) Burns wrote “Address to a Haggis more than 200 years ago”. It was therefore fitting that Tom Carey gave his “Address to a Haggis” at the end of the tasting. Tom and Alice also served Haggis to the tasters.
